We are excited to introduce our 1/2 Day pediatric Level 1 MiniMAPclass, led by pediatric Physiotherapist Janna Marvyn and Board Certified Behavioural Analyst Kurtis Marvyn, happening APRIL 20th!
Course Description (1/2 Day):
The MiniMAPclass focuses on the Practical Application of Behaviour Analysis in Pediatric Physiotherapy. This small-group, hands-on learning environment, led by experienced professionals, enhances pediatric assessment and treatment skills. The course covers postural/movement analysis, transitional movements, functional strengthening activities, handling & facilitation, and practical application of behavioural strategies.

Time: 1-5pm
Cost: Students $175 / Clinicians $275
miniMAP Certifications:
Level 1: Introduction to miniMAP framework and its application to the pediatric population. Guided hands-on postural analysis, demonstration, and practice. Introduction to behavioural strategies for assessment and treatment sessions.
Level 2: (pre-requisite - Level 1 or instructor clearance) Honing miniMAP skills, including complex movement patterns. Emphasis on instructor demonstration and hands-on practice. Explore complex behavioural topics such as understanding the "why" of behaviour, trauma-informed care, safety, and client advocacy during challenging behaviours.
