Phil is an RMT graduate from Sutherland Chan in 2015. Prior to completing his massage schooling, he completed his BSc in Kinesiology at York University. Phil has continued to increase his knowledge base by completing courses in Neurofunctional Acupuncture, sports acupuncture, and the Advanced Neurofunctional Sports Performance Program at McMaster University, Fascial Stretch Therapy (level 2 FST), cupping, as well as various assessment courses.
Phil has worked in a variety of settings such as Neuro clinics, multidisciplinary clinics, gyms and with national and professional level athletes in various sports. His academic background mixed with his various work settings and populations gives Phil a very holistic approach to rehabilitating the body focusing not just on the physical injury or problem itself, but looking at lifestyle, sleep, nutrition and mindset to help maximize the treatment outcomes. Having been injured many times in the past, he knows the importance of a holistic approach first hand and the benefits it provides.
In his free time, he loves to play sports, primarily mountain biking and cycling, rugby and pickup basketball, scuba dive and free dive. Travel is also a major part of his life and he is always looking for an off the beaten path place to visit and explore.
